Monologue (one-frame story)

Nodar Dumbadze "The Law of Eternity". Performed by Alina Kushim

The 15-minute monologue was to be filmed in one shot in an abstract space with no reference to a location. The filming site was provided by the School of Contemporary Play, which was equipped with modern lighting equipment mounted on trusses above the stage. Additionally, only asters and frost frames with skirts were needed, which were attached to the top in front of the equipment.

We divided the monologue into 5 main parts, each of which became a separate location that the actress had to move between. The skirts blocked out the excess light, leaving the walls in darkness and highlighting the main character. We could use the light control panel to turn on and off the desired location, control the backlight, and manage the hazer.
